Home page looks different in edit to when published
-
Hi there,
The home page for my blog ( https://eliotkern.wordpress.com ) has a Block with descriptions and links to the main two pages for my blog – Life and Fun, which show because I’ve set the parent page as Home and these are the two pages under the parent page Home.
But when I look at the published site, the two pages that show up are Home and Life. Why is Home showing up when published, when I’ve set it otherwise?
Thanks so much for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there — I’m not sure I follow the question, but we’re happy to help!
Right now I see a menu at the top right, and some sections on the front page. Both seem to link to the proper pages, though I did notice “home” has a number for its link.
If you need more help, could you maybe share more context, or an example of what you’re trying to do?

Hey, thanks for your offer to help!
The sections on the front page link to the pages they say they link to. The problem is that they’re not the right pages in the first place. I want the sections to be Life and Fun. When I edit the site, it shows the sections on the home page as Life and Fun. But on the published site, the sections are Home and Life.
I hope that makes more sense.
Thanks again!

Got it — it looks like something is afoot with the page template:
https://eliotkern.wordpress.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php?postType=wp_template_partDo you want to revert the changes and see if that helps?
