Hello!
I created a blog menu one the homepage and then made a test blog post. How to I connect the blog post with the blog menu on the homepage?

Hi,
Your “Blog” menu item is already connected to the test post. The “Blog” menu item is linked to the blog page, aka the posts page, which displays your latest posts in reverse chronological order. If you want your posts to be listed in a drop-down menu under the “Blog” menu item, or under other menu items, let us know. These goals can easily be accomplished, but describing how to do it requires a bit of explanation.

After I sent the question, I tried a few things and eventually was able to link to the blog page.
I would like for the blog posts to be listed in a drop-down menu under the Blog menu. Also, the Blog menu item currently links to the homepage/logo. Are there other options to de-link it?

The front page, aka the homepage, may display either the latest posts or a static page. See the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page. However, if you’re homepage isn’t linked to the Blog menu item, then which menu item will it be linked to? Typically, if the homepage displays the latest posts, then the “Home” menu item would link to it. Having no link to the homepage is not a good idea.
Btw, do you know that you have the “Home” menu item linked to a portfolio project?

You’ll have to add them manually. You already have a custom menu set as your primary menu, so that’s a good start. A custom menu may include links to any of the content types (pages, posts, projects, testimonials) as well as other valid URLs both internal and external. See the Custom Menus support page.
To add links to posts to your custom menu follow the instructions in the Additional menu items section of the Custom Menus support page, choosing the “Post” type when adding a new item.
If you expect to publish lots of posts in various categories, then you might want to consider including links to Category Pages in the menu. See the Category Pages support page.

I would like for the blog posts to be listed in a drop-down menu under the Blog menu.
Drop-down menus in a custom menu are created by setting some menu items as sub-menu items. So, in a addition to the Custom Menus support page and its Additional menu items section, I should have also pointed you to the Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus section of the support page.
