Home Page Messed Up

Okay so my home page won’t show my posts correctly. I have tried to trash my post and repost it so that it will show up on the home page. Not only that, but it has about three words from the post that I want to show up on the actual home page. Someone please help me…

Could it be something to do with that theme’s ‘content slider’? It’s supposed to be able to pick up posts with a certain tag and display them in an image slider at the top. Could it be set to use a tag that you’ve used in that post? If the post has no images, I could imagine it might not know how to display it hence the odd snippet of text. Just guessing!
To check if one of your tags is set at the one to display in the slider, go to Customize and there should be a ‘Featured Content’ option at the bottom of the menu on the left. Click on that and check what tag name it has in the box – if you’ve used it in that post perhaps that’s why it’s showing up at the top.
Sorry if I’m totally wrong – it’s the only thing I can think of that might cause this.
