Home Page Metadata Not responding to changes

When sharing the site https://bravesoulsmovement.ca/ on social media the page image is blank and the description is telling me to set up services. I have done so ( against my design wishes) but it is not responding to the changes. I have set up Yoast SEO and it is not overriding the description with the entered details. This is regardless of which theme I choose, though the one I am designing with is Royal. The twenty seventeen theme responds the same.
The description says ‘You haven’t created any service page yet. Create Page Go to Customizer and click royal Options => Home = > Service Section #1 and select page from dropdown page list.’
This is just occurring only with the Home page. While I could do a rerouting of the landing page, I do not wish to have to do so.
I have contacted Hosting ( GoDaddy) and they have cleared the cache files and verified proper installation to the best of their ability. I have an email ticket in to Royal Theme developers and am awaiting answers there.
This is time sensitive.

I can see that you have taken a lot of effort posting your question here but I would like to tell you that WordPress.com is a public forum that helps with sites hosted on WordPress.com.

If you have setup your website using self-hosted open source WordPress.org software you need to post your question on .org forum here https://wordpress.org/supportKnow more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here
