Home Page not customizing properly

Hi I am using the twenty twenty theme and the home page looks much different on my live website than when editing the home page. It will not show my all my posts although I selected “choose specific posts”
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

From the Display Settings section of the Blog Post Block support page:
The Choose Specific Posts toggle will let you show only specific posts that you choose to add. To add a post, begin typing the post title and some suggestions will appear. Click on the post you want from those suggestions and it will be added to the block.

The Blog Posts Block isn’t designed to show all posts, although it may do so if you have 100 or fewer posts. However, a warning in the Display Settings section of the support page says:
Displaying 100 posts at once may slow down your page loading time considerably. Generally, it is recommended to choose a low number of posts to display (less than 15 posts) and then include the Show “More” Button (see below) for your readers to load more posts if they wish.

Apparently I have a site from awhile ago and I don’t want any of the content. I selected a new theme Exford and want that theme to show up so I can customize it. When I hit customize on the Exford area, the images text etc of Exford is not there? How do I make this happen so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel?? Thank you!
