'home' page not displaying in Dashboard
-
I have a ‘home’ page, that isn’t displaying in my Dashboard, so I can’t edit or delete it! How can I find it so that I can remove it please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks for reply. So I can’t remove it at all then? I can’t edit it either! And I don’t have blogs listed in the blog page!

It all depends. Are you only going to create Pages (and basically not care about search engine results?) If so, you can create a static page and then go to dashboard->Settings->General and select the static page as the opening page of your site.

Hi, yes I guess so. Let me try that. If I do this will I still get search engines finding me though? Sorry, bit dumb on this front
I’ve converted some pages to draft and even deleted pages but when I open the website they are still visible, why is this?

Dear Raincoaster, I went into Settings>general but I do not have the option on free WordPress to choose my home opening page!

Have sorted out problem. Went into Appearance, Menu, and got rid of the ghost home page and the other pages that I’d moved to draft or trash :) Thanks for replying to me.
