Home page of all themes appears as a HTML page and Missing Icons

    I’ve used WordPress for many years now and this is the first time I have encountered this problem. My question is regarding a .wordpress.com blog I have. The home page of the blog appears as an HTML page:
    https://nousboggling.wordpress.com/

    However, if I click on any of the links to other pages, the content is displayed as per the theme. As on now, I am unable to do anything on the blog- can’t publish a post or change the theme, because when I log into my account, all I see are blank placeholders.

    Lastly, even when I view the demo of other themes, they appear as simple HTML pages.

    Not sure if this is one problem or multiple problems appearing at the same time. I am using a Mac 10.11.1
