HOME page on Vigilance theme

  Hi again,
  I have got an other question on Vigilance theme: it is possible to add anything (pic or text) to the home page?
  I somehow can not manage it, do not have it listed in my pages section, no idea how to update it, or leave it out.

  You haven’t made any Posts yet. A blog is composed of posts, and once you make them they’ll go up in order on the main page.

  and if I want it to have it static but with one image or welcome text on it?
  ( i do not have upgraded css options)

  Then you have to write a Page rather than a Post. This is really easy once you poke around a little bit:

  Pages vs. Posts

  Do NOT make the beginner’s mistake of making a blog all Pages instead of Posts.

  well, I managed it this way:

  – made a new page which I wanted to appear on HOME page,
  – named it with a ‘spacebar’ so it exists but doesn’t show,
  – edited in settings/reading FRONT PAGE DISPLAYS as STATIC PAGE
  and selected my unnamed PAGE to show up (actually first I named it as home page, so i could select it, then renamed it to ‘spacebar’)
