Home Page, Pique Theme

I would like to delete the ‘about page’ and the second panel entirely in the pique theme. I managed to delete the about page, but now the second panel displays the same words as my first panel and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. I would like my home page on my blog to display as follows: first panel– home page; second panel– contact info.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

but now the second panel displays the same words as my first panel and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it.

If looks like you added the page that is assigned as your static front page to the first panel (not the second panel) at Customize > Theme Options, but without a background image added. See the Adding Panels section of the Pique theme guide. In the example shown in the guide, the About page is the first panel. The homepage is not considered a panel.

The guide is can be rather confusing, because, under Setting Up Your Front Page > Front Page Content, it says:

On its own, the page you assigned as your Static Front Page will display a single panel with a full-screen featured image, your site logo and/or title, your site menu, and your page content.

And yet the panel below this one is called panel 1 in the Adding Panels section, and presumably at Customize > Theme Options.
