Home Page problems…
-
I am having trouble with my site. I created a page called “Home” and when you go to the site, I want that page to come up as the primary home page. Right now, it defaults to my blog.
So in a nutshell, I want my index page (http://baywebserve.com/~patricia/)
To actually be this page (http://baywebserve.com/~patricia/?page_id=6)
Can you help?

@royconnelly
The reason your front page of your blog is producing a “404” (page not found) is because you deleted the “Hello World” post. As soon as you publish a post this will be rectified. This is the link to relevant support entry > http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ This is the link to the main page for all support documentation and as you are new I suggest that you bookmark it as you will be using it frequently. > http://en.support.wordpress.comYes, there is help available for setting up your blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/introduction/You have chose the Twenty Ten theme and it has a special feature called custom menu. That feature will allow you to display a mix of pages, categories, and random links of your own choice in your navigation under your image header instead of your theme deciding for you and displaying only links to static pages. See here for how to use it > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ This post is also helpful Custom menus arrive at wordpress.com
Best wishes with your new blog. :)
