home page problems

  My home page is not displaying correctly and I cannot change any other page names to slash “home” in order for that page to show up first when visiting the site. When I try to change another pages name to slash “home” it auto-corrects to “home-2”. Thanks for the help!

  Hi there. You cannot simply change another page to home. You need to assign your home page under Settings ->Reading in the dashboard. See here for instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
