Home page reverts to previous state after first view?

  No matter what changes I make to my front page they are only visible on the first viewing. Go to another page and then back to the font page and it keeps reverting to a previous state (even the featured image keeps changing).
  Any ideas?

  The header images will only rotate if you choose to have them do so here > Appearance > Header
