Ah… the text of “home” is now below the text of the second page “minimalisme” , so it is both there. How do I Make the homepage static?

  • Hi!

Happy to help. What you’re seeing is happening because both your “Front Page” and “Posts Page” are set to be the same here: https://minimalista2b.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

The Front Page option which of your pages you’d like to be static on your home page. The Posts Page setting allowed you to choose what page you want to be replaced with your blog posts.

Since, right now, they’re the same, it is appearing different than you’re wanting.

So, for the Front Page, it appears that you’d want to select “About”, like it already is.
For Posts page, you either want to select nothing (leaving it as “-Select-“) if you do not plan on writing “posts” or you can create a new page and select it on that setting.

The page that’s set as the Posts page would only display your latest posts, so for example, you can set “About” as your Front Page. Then you can create a new page called “Blog” and set it as the Posts Page. When someone visits your site, they would see the About page. If they visited http://minimalista2b.com/blog , they would then see you posts.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything else we can do for you!
