home page side bar images stretched out

I am on IE 8. In the last few days, my sidebar images are long and stretched out. I don’t have the problem on Firefox or on my smartphone. I’ve checked with other IE 8 users, and they’re having the same issue. Is there a WordPress setting/ update I need to run? I don’t see any notifications in my dashboard…help?

Your site appears to be displaying properly for me in IE 8. Would you be able to take a screenshot? You can upload it to your Media Library for us to take a look:

By switching on the compatibility view, it works great. Thanks for the suggestion! Some others viewing my site had the same issue, as though my site suddenly needed to be viewed in compatilibility mode, though it didn’t before. Not sure what that’s about…

Glad to hear that helped. We did recently make a change to Under the Influence so that images would be resized properly, which is possibly related to the problem you were seeing.
