home page template

    Hi I chose at the Lyrical template but it has a space that I cannot delete in the home page that is not there in the site template example.
    The home page has a white space running across the middle of the homepage as I deleted the inside blocks that you can write in hoping to eliminate the whole space but now it just looks silly.
    Any ideas?
