Home page to list most recent posts

    Sorry, newbie question here.
    I have my home page currently set to list recent posts, but it lists them in their entirety, one after the other. Is there a way I can set it to just list the titles and a the first few lines, with something like ‘see more’ on there? I want the homepage to show multiple posts at a time.

    To manage your excerpt , if your theme supports Excerpts , so you theme is the twenty sixteen , it does support excerpts
