Home page unwanted text

    In the middle of my home page, there is text that says, “Not found – Sorry, but you’re looking for something that isn’t here.” I can’t find any way to get that off the home page. It doesn’t appear to be any kind of widget and there’s nowhere for me to click on it and delete it.

    I am not seeing that error message on the blog linked to your username. I assume you are referring to another blog. If so and if you deleted the Hello World post from the blog you refer to then that created a 404 (page not found) error message. As soon as you publish a post (not a page) that error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/
