    My site should be showing the widgets on the right side column, and previously it was.
    Noticed today, though, that the right side column instead is showing full blog posts in that narrower column, one after another as you scroll down the page.
    It should be showing the items I selected for that column — top posts, categories. etc.
    I checked in different browsers, it is displaying this wrong in all views.
    My other blog site is displaying correctly.
    Please check into this, to get the display corrected.

    Additional info: it only does this on the home page… when viewing specific posts or views of archive, the right side panel displays correctly.

    Hi there,

    It appears that there is an HTML based error on your homepage, which is a result of this post that is listed in the blog feed: https://ourblessedhope.wordpress.com/2022/04/20/green-power-of-the-adjective/

    You will notice that if you go to that post you also do not see a sidebar, which is my other clue that this post is at issue.

    I’ve had a bit of trouble determining just where the error is coming from though. Is this post different than your others somehow? Are you writing the text in another editor and pasting into the WordPress editor?

    Thanks for the assistance. I checked that post, and apparently it was the extra <div> and </div> tags.

    I had been writing my posts in Evernote, and directly pasting from there into the WordPress classic editor. Then I had noticed that going from Evernote directly to WordPress editor, copied in a lot of <div> tags, and sometimes I would manually remove all of these. I must have missed these extra <div> tags in the middle section of this post. Just now I removed all of the remaining <div> and </div>, and that resolved the problem.

    Since writing that post, I have switched to copying from Evernote to Microsoft Word, and copying the text from there into the WordPress editor — doing it that way does not add in all the <div> tags.
