home page with links ONLY!

Hello – Is there a way to have a wp home page with LINKS ONLY (ie, no content, except maybe a short teaser) to a separate page for each article? Thanks in advance!

Sure. Create a static Page rather than a Post and then go to Settings->General and select that your blog should open on a static page and choose that page from the drop-down. Then Save the changes.

OK. Maybe Im not doing it quite right (I didnt see anywhere to “enable permalinks” as suggested), but I wanted a homepage which has titles to articles wherein each title links to a dedicated page for that ONE article. For example – for tomorrow, I will have 5 article titles on the home page, each title links to a page for that one article. The next day, I will have 5 different titles on the home page, etc, etc. I would also like the article titles on an archive page, with each title linked to its respective article. Am I asking too much of wordpress? OR YOU??!! Thanks VERY much for your time!!

You’ll have to add links on the page (as you have already done), and update those links manually every day. Hope you’ll soon get tired of doing this. The Recent Posts widget does it automatically.

You’re welcome.
If the RP widget is enough for your purposes, then you can add a permanent intro text to the front page instead of the links. But if you want to add a description of each post, as I’m seeing now, then I’m afraid you’ll have to keep doing this manually.
