Home photos seem dark in Gazette

  My photos on the home page of a Gazette blog I’m trying to set up seem dark, as though there is a filter applied. I don’t like this at all. Is there any way to brighten them up or remove the filter? Note that the photos are fine on the individual blog pages.

  Hey @debbiesymanovich,

  The theme is altering the opacity of the images slightly. If you have Custom CSS, you could add this CSS to make some minor visual adjustments.

  .featured-content .post-thumbnail {
      opacity: 1 !important;
  }
  
  .content-area .format-gallery .post-thumbnail:before,
  .content-area .format-image .post-thumbnail:before {
      opacity: 0 !important;
  }
