Home Tab Doesn't Take Me Back Home
-
Hi-
I have a blog with several tabs at the top that link to different pages within the blog. One of the tabs I would like to have says “Home” and I would like it to take readers back to the main page. I know that can be accomplished by clicking on the header, but I think it is nice to have an obvious option to take readers back.
All of my other tabs link fine to the pages, but my home tab does not. When I go to the permalink, it defaults to the url plus “index-php.” I have tried to delete the “index-php,” thinking that might be the problem, but it seems to automatically put that in when there is nothing else in the box. Is there a way to link the tab to just the blog url?
Thank you in advance!

Hi there – You almost had this. I see you’d started to set up a Custom Menu with a custom link for your home tab, but you just needed to save and activate your menu:
https://mygratefulheart.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?menu=4996I went ahead and did that for you, so you should be all set now! :)
