Home tab issues

I’ve seen that alot of other people have noticed this issue, and I think someone ought to be able to resolve it. Most of the themes I have tried that have page tabs have a “Home” tab that you can’t edit for some reason. One theme, “Freshy”, allowed me to do what I wanted and make the Home page the About Me page. When I made the about me page and set it as my static front page the “Home” tab automatically takes you back to the “About Me” page. But I cannot find any other themes for my other blogs that will do the same thing. Instead they keep the “Home” tab as a page you cannot change and essentially you will have two tabs that take you to the same place, which is aggravating to me.
This issue could be resolved if:
-The “Home” tab on a theme would be considered a page that could be edited or deleted
    – When you set a static page to be the front page it automatically becomes the “home”
    – More options to customize themes were put in place

I would very grateful to wordpress if they solved this problem.
otherwise I’m very happy with the site so far :)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The home page is a dynamically create page that shows your posts. It does not exist until someone types the main home page URL of your blog into their browser address bar. The home page is built on the fly by the wordpress software.

It was entirely the choice of the theme designer whether to have a home page tab in the top navigation or not. All the themes here were designed by individual designers.

If you have a “home page tab in the theme you are using, create and publish your own home page with the name “home” and the content you want as your home page, and set it as the static front page. You will then see two home page tabs in the top navigation and they will both lead to the home page you created. You can hide one of them by making it a “child” of another page. People do this all the time and it is all explained in this support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ . Don’t over think the instructions in this support document, just do it and you will have one home page tab that will lead to the home page you created.

We will likely never get the ability to edit the underlying theme files here. First of all, you would have to be experienced with PHP script since wordpress and all themes are written in PHP script. There are no HTML files. All HTML for browser display of the pages in your blog is dynamically created on demand.

Secondly, this is a multi-user platform which means we all share the same underlying theme and wordpress files. If they allowed you to change the theme files, then that would change it for everyone using that theme.
