Home/Blog page
-
I have 3 pages on my blog, called ‘Blog’, ‘About’, and ‘Contact’. I currently have it set up where visitors come straight to my ‘blog’ page and that ‘s good. What I don’t like is if you click on the menu word ‘blog’ along the top. That takes you to a separate page called ‘blog’ that currently has no purpose. I would happily get rid of this page except I’ve got it set as my ‘homepage’. Again, it’s working fine as my homepage, but I don’t understand why the blank page called ‘blog’ has to come up when ‘blog’ is clicked in the menu. To see what I mean, go to glazedmanepic.wordpress.com.

Timethief,
Thank you for your quick response. The postings that you sent me to did help me change the title of the page, but it didn’t address the real problem. If you go to my blog glazedmanepic.wordpress.com, you can easily see the real issue by clicking on “HOME” in the top menu. It takes you to a page that says “oops, this page can’t be found”. It says that because I tried to delete the page but it won’t go away. When someone clicks on the word “home” I want them go back or stay on the home page with all of my posts on it. When my blog opens up it goes to the home page like its supposed to. But, if someone clicks on the “About” page (for example) and then they click on the “home” page to get back to my posts, they should be able to do that. Instead they go to a blank page that says “oops, this page can’t be found.”
I’m not sure why my previous question above ends with “the blog I need help with is starsandsplats…….” That’s my other blog. That is not where the problem is. The problem is at my new blog glazedmanepic.worpress.com. -
Hi @scottcahan, it looks like the menu links were corrupted.
Try this:
– Head to Customize > Menus > Menu Locations
– Click Edit under your current menu
– Remove the home link and re-add it.
It should work after that!
