Homepage changes/edits apply to all other pages…

    Hi, Everytime I make an edit or change to my homepage, this then gets applied to all my other pages. It is like my homepage is really only a header & footer. I need my homepage to reflect a landing page…I have looked at all settings and think I may have used the wrong template but I am now unable or unsure on how to get ‘out’ of this homepage. Thanks in advance, Andrew
