homepage doesn't display

    Hi!

    My blog http://www.adriansskafferi.com doesn’t display at all. It says it can’t find the server.

    What should I do at this point?

    Hi Rubin,

    As strange as it sounds, it doesn’t appear that your domain actually has nameservers attached to it. When I do a whois lookup on your domain, it reports nameservers, however a deeper look via a specialized lookup called a “dig”, which can be done on many systems (including a mac using Terminal) using the following command:

    dig @8.8.8.8 +short NS adriansskafferi.com

    Returns no result. This means that there are no nameservers at all. If you substitute another domain which DOES have nameservers, they are returned.

    You’ll want to reach out to your domain registrar and let them know about this problem. They should have some mechanism which is capable of fixing this problem. Sorry for the inconvenience!
