Homepage errors
-
As mentioned in another post, every time I go to our website now, for about 2 weeks, the page spins and spins before finally coming up with an error. (See 3rd below)
I used to open a browser, press a single button and my site would load instantly. Now, not only does it take several minutes, but it doesn’t even show the content. It’s pretty strange too that when I go into the dashboard view, it starts by saying we have nothing there. To actually see what we have, we have to click a different tab, at which point the numbers actually update and I can navigate as I need to. (see first and second image)
This is happening on iPhone, desktop or laptop. Desktop and laptop both running Win11. Desktop is 23h2, laptop is 24H1. Chrome is my default browser, but it happens in Edge and Safari as well.
Please fix the issues with the #1 blog site as soon as possible.

Is this still an issue for you? When I go to your above site, it loads instantly for me in Win10Pro PC and Firefox latest.
Does this happen on any other WordPress.com sites you visit or only your site? Did you try the browser troubleshooting suggestions I mentioned earlier? https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/

Thanks for getting back to me – the Christmas holiday has had us running around. Yes, I was just on the site now and it’s happening on my iPhone as well. There’s definitely something amiss. I’ve tried many things but there’s still the issue that it happens on multiple systems across multiple browsers.

If you mean this is happening on junkyard.blog, it loads for me almost instantly in Vivaldi, Brave and MSEdge as well in Firefox, all latest versions.
You didn’t answer whether you’re able to access other WordPress.com websites without issue.
Have you tried connecting from an entirely different location or using a VPN? Have you disabled all browser extensions (as suggested in that support guide)?
