Homepage Excerpt

  I was just wondering how you can get rid of the little excerpts on the bottom of the homepage?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there,

  Are you referring to the widgets at the bottom of your page with “search” and “follow blog”? Or the area with “about” and “contact”?

  I see that you are using the Dara theme. Either can be done from the Customizer Menu.

  For the “about” and “contact”, this would be found in the Customize>Theme Options. From the drop down menu, Front Page: Featured Page One, choose the “Select” option to remove the About. Then for Front Page: Featured Page Two, choose “select” to remove contact.

  For “search” and “follow” these are widgets, and can be found in Customizer>Widgets. Select Footer 1, 2, or 3. Select the widget and at the bottom of the drop down menu there should be a delete option.

  Be sure to Save and Publish your changes each time
