Homepage has disappeared in Dashboard but is on live site

    Hi,
    I need to edit a client’s site, specifically the homepage but it’s no longer listed under Pages. I’ve checked and under Dashboard > Appearance > Customize / Homepage Settings and it is set to ‘latest posts’. I am sure when I built the site over a year ago I would have set it to ‘static ‘page’ and pointed it to the homepage but it is now set to show ‘latest posts’. I changed it to ‘static page’ but of course the homepage isn’t listed as a page. Weirdly, the homepage is visible when you view the site live.

    Can anyone suggest where the homepage may have gone??
