Homepage layout glitch
-
Hi there, my homepage is always shifting my blog posts several scrolls down, and leaving nothing but blank space at the top of my home page (making it look like the site isn’t loading). It started after I backdated a few posts, but I don’t see how that would influence it. And sometimes the most recent post will be at the top, and all the others are several scrolls down, but usually they are all pushed way down. Any help will be greatly appreciated. http://www.acoffeestainednotebook.wordpress.com

Hi there,
This gap is known bug with the Baskerville 2 theme, but unfortunately there is no workaround other than to refresh the page, which sometimes fixes the issue.
WordPress.com is working on it, and you can follow along here if you wish: https://github.com/Automattic/themes/issues/208
Let us know if you have any further questions or issues. :)

Hi @acoffeestainednotebook — thank you for this report!
I believe we’ve found the cause of the blank space you were seeing at the top of your homepage, and have deployed a fix.
I’ve tested your site in a few different browsers, and things are looking good.
However, we’ve found this issue presents itself inconsistently, so it’s possible we missed a specific case where it can be replicated. If you do continue to experience this problem after clearing your browser cache, please don’t hesitate to let us know!
Just let me know if you have any questions at all about the above – thanks!
