Homepage links?

    I am new to this whole thing and I’m trying to figure out how/if I can add links to the main page. Like when someone goes to my blog…on the “sidebar” I’m guessing that’s what you call it…I have a Twitter thingy…but I also want a list of my favorite links. My boyfriend has typepad and on his blog on the left hand side it says “Favorite Links” and he can add links there. How can I do that on WordPress?

    Can you give us a link to your blog, starting with http? Then we can look at it and give specific suggestions. There are a few variables involved.

    You can obtain the same effect (as your boyfriend’s blog) by navigating to Manage -> Links (or Write -> Link) from your dashboard. There, you can add as many of your favorite links as you like. Then, from Design -> Widgets, simply add a “Links” widget to your sidebar.
