homepage not showing

guys i used chatgpt and i still dont have a solution. WordPress insisted to choose theme and i did, but now i cant see my homepage, for instance i can only see it at the dashboard as homepage with an info icon next to it, the homepage i had was something entirely different so i deleted all the pages and followed chatgpt instructions. i even changed themes yet i cant see my homepage thats stuck to the dam theme as a page itself under the customize of pages. i want it to pop up under pages in the list.

To resolve this, create a new page from the WordPress dashboard, name it “Homepage,” and add your desired content. Then, go to Settings > Reading, set “Your homepage displays” to “A static page,” and select your newly created “Homepage” from the dropdown. Ensure no other page is assigned as the theme’s default homepage under Appearance > Customize or similar options in your theme settings. Save changes and clear your site cache. This should replace the theme’s default homepage with your custom one.
I have done the same to fix it for a client’s website, hope it helps you as well.
