  Hello, I have had my blog for a few years now and I am in love with my theme but there is one thing I’m stuck on. I would like my posts on my home page not to show the entire post. My homepage on my blog is every post I’ve made and it shows the entire post but I’d like it to show the title and just a few lines instead. How do I do this?

  You can accomplish this by adding the read more tag for each post. Here is support document to make you understand the concept.

  That’s the manual method but if you want WordPress to handle it, you can go to Customize>>Content Options and choose the radio button for “Post Excerpt”.
