Homepage redirecting to wrong URL
-
Hello please help. My website is http://www.always-forward.ca, but unfortunately after installing a language plugin my website keeps redirecting to always-forward.ca/en. There is no such page as the .ca/en. Is there a way I can redirect my site back to always-forward.ca and not /en?
I have tried Settings>Reading>Static Front Page and rechoosing my homepage, this did not fix the bug. If someone have any tips, please help. Thank you in advance

Hi there!
Looking at http://www.always-forward.ca/ we findYour DNS hosting provider is “BLUEHOST, INC”
Further, since you are able to install a plugin, we can tell that you are not hosted here at WordPress.Com. Since the forums here are for content that is hosted here, you are asking in the wrong place. https://wordpress.org/support/ has the expertise to help you with your BlueHost hosted pages
Although you may well be using WordPress Software on your pages, it is not the same WordPress used here, though it is very similar! It is easy to be confused by this. The WordPress software is written and maintained by the WordPress.org community, and is the blogging software that is used by over 25% of the web! Because of their commitment to Open Source code, ease of use, and popularity, WordPress software is installed by many hosting providers for use by their subscribers.
Automattic owns the hosting service known to us as WordPress.com.
BUT the software that you are using on your self hosted blog has no real connection with WordPress.com, beyond the name. They don’t talk to each other (even though they are on good terms).https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ explains many of the differences between self-hosted and sites hosted at WordPress.Com
https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_vs_WordPress.com is a more who is who explanation.best,
dave
