Homepage slideshow with BIG images

  Hi,

  I use Modularity Lite, and have a regualar slideshow as my homepage – but the images appear very small:

  Is there any way of having a homepage slideshow with BIG images, i.e. taking up all or most of the screen? I know that I can have something like this as a header to my blog page, but what I really want is a portfolio style slideshow that is separate from my blog.

  Slideshows have fixed dimensions, so no slideshow can display full-width images when your images are in various aspect ratios and include portrait-shaped images.

  Thank you both for your help. The slideshow on the new Photography theme is pretty much what I was after, so maybe I’ll just have to upgrade to a premium theme.

  But I like the carousel slideshow, and have just used it in a new post, so thanks for the tip.
