Homepage to be just a slideshow one large frame showing images

  Hello I need help with the homepage of http://www.anywhereiroam.co.nz I am using the bindery theme as i love the blogs look, however i want the homepage to be a single large frame that has a slideshow of images.

  Looking at the examples you provided, it would not be possible to create a slideshow like that using the theme you have now. You would need to pick a theme that has that functionality from the get-go.

  One possible workaround (using CSS) would be to set a custom background to the static homepage (a large one of course) but it would not be possible to animate that.

  Another possibility is to modify the width of a standard page (which you can set to be your front page) to allow you to embed a larger slideshow than you can currently, but it would not be in a background element.

  If either of those solutions are something you’d like to try that out, I’m happy to give the CSS a try. :)

  Yes, if we could try this option “Another possibility is to modify the width of a standard page (which you can set to be your front page) to allow you to embed a larger slideshow than you can currently, but it would not be in a background element.” And see how it looks but set it up as a new page so I can delete it if I don’t like it… I’ve looked at other themes and it seems none really have a clean uncomplicated homepage, I don’t want to much going on you see, (also I love the blog look on this theme) minimal text and massive images is what I want.   Can you do me a favor and set up a test page? It can be set to be your front page later, but for now we can use it to test out the CSS. Just embed a slideshow in the page, publish it, and let me know what the link is so I can take a look.
