Homophobic domain suggestions?!

While I was beginning the process of creating a domain via your site. One of your ‘suggested’ domain names was very offensive and features a slur commonly used towards gay men. My question is how is this being let through regardless of being a random generator or not. I am looking to create my new LGBT blog using your site and now with this being given to me as a ‘suggested’ blog domain, I seriously doubt any LGBTQ+ blogger would be happy to know that WordPress are dealing out slurs to potential users. I have the photo of the suggestion and would be glad to forward it on via email.

The slur suggestion came up when I got to the step ‘give your site and address’
In which you can choose to pay the higher price for the ‘.com’ domain, or if you choose a ‘.blog’ domain they give you a list of suggested domains with the ‘.blog’ address.
The name is based off my username which would be ‘itsallqueersay’ but this does not explain why WordPress would allow slurs associated with minority groups to be given out as suggested domain names. Can you see my point?

I can’t follow what your complaint is. Any username you choose will obviously be used as a suggestion for a site address. You don’t have to activate that address though. You can experiment with different free addresses.

I understand that I have the option to pick whatever address I choose. However, the point that I am trying to raise is that the system in place should not be generating slurs as suggested domain names.
I will obviously not choose the domain address with the slur but am raising the issue so that it can be noted and hopefully explained.

If you are prepared to reveal what it is that has upset you then you can add the word modlook to the tag box here on the far right and a member of staff will reply in due course.
