Hootsuite connection – I've done everything and still "Could not find your blog"

I tried everything to get my blog connected with Hootsuite to get it connected including: adding /xmlrpc.php to my domain; adding and then trying removing the http://; changing my password to only number and letters (no characters). I keep getting the error message “Error: Could not find your blog.”. There is one requirement I could not determine that they need is that my blog is the latest WordPress.org sites V 3.4 +. I am assuming it is since I just started blogging a month ago on wordpress and am using the main theme that is offered as a default.

Well, no, not exactly, but it should still be able to work. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Look in the Hootsuite support documents for instructions relating specifically to WordPress.COM, not just “WordPress.”

Can you help me find the documents or instructions related to this? I looked for 10 minutes to find something but don’t see anything except previous forums that are related to hootsuite but not to this issue.
