Hopelessly lost going around in circles

Set up a website , I need help , I have posted a blog and when I logged on later , it was gone ,? , I don;t need a lot of help , just things like , how to save something ,? , I can;t afford a coach or I would go down that route , I have a book and an album , I know what I want to do , I have a fairly clear idea of what I want the site to look like , I just can;t work out how to tell it to stay there , is there anyway I could get help putting stuff on , I can upload what I want on the pages , and have them in my media file , just need help with , stay there ? , can someone tell me who at wordpress I should contact if I can;t resolve it here , Rex

Hi Pavanraheja , I have just written my first book , produced my first album , am trying to set up my first website , I am 60 yrs old and trying to do it all myself , its just too much , I have hit the wall and can not seem to make sense of the instructions , if I complete the uploads , which will take a week or two , is there anyway I can get help putting them on the pages ?

After logging in at WordPress.com and clicking ‘My Site’ at top-left, try looking for and clicking ‘WP Admin’ way low at bottom-left. That should get you to the actual WordPress Dashboard where Posts, Pages, Comments, Media Files, Theme Customizations and everything else available is accessible. I am 67 and have only one eye that can read, but I have been self-hosting for the past five years and I definitely understand how and why WordPress.com can seem quite confusing.

I looked for WP admin can;t find one , I am on free plan , does that make a difference , I may have to check other options , other sites may offer the help I need , seems I may be asking for what people normally pay for , ?

I cannot imagine why being on the free plan should make any difference, so try this link and see what you get:
https://thetruththeworldcanthandle.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.phpWordPress.com is like a huge network of inter-connectable sites, and the typical WordPress.com “Dashboard” is the inter-connection interface and not an actual WordPress-site Dashboard where I have spent my past five years with “self-hosted WordPress” prior to coming to WordPress.com.
