Hoping for access to old blog archives

  Hello! I have had the same wordpress blog for a number of years, and for a few months decided to stop blogging. (At about December of 2014.) I would like to revive my blog, but it doesn’t show up for me when I log in. Where did it go? Will I be able to find it again?

  When I search the wayback machine, I can find it…https://web.archive.org/web/20141007033821/http://www.stefaniejapel.com/blog/ I have since pointed my domain to a new site, but how can I get access to my archives? I don’t know what the wordpress.com address for the blog would be.

  https://stefaniejapel.wordpress.com doesn’t exist. This site is not hosted by WordPress.COM http://www.stefaniejapel.com/blog/ and there is no domain mapping upgrade for it so I cannot determine what any underlying wordpress.COM URL was if in fact there was one long ago.

  Unless you can provide a wordpress.COM URL I think you are “hooped” so to speak. If you can provide one then you can use account recovery https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access. Note that there is frequently an account recovery backlog so patience while waiting for a Staff response is required.

  You could also use Google search to see if you turn up something there.

  Do you know if there’s a way to contact support and see if they could help me dig deeper? I am sure that there’s an old account associated with my name / email address, but am not turning it up.

  (I appreciate you taking the time so much, it’s been really sad to lose all those years 2007 – 2014 of archives!)

  There is only one means of account recovery and it is not done on these support forums. The Account Recovery Staff are contacted by use of this form https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
