Horizontal Scrollbar
-
My WordPress blog has extra margin space, I think, because there’s a horizontal scrollbar as well as a vertical one. I checked the Libre live demo website, and there’s no horizontal scrollbar there. What can I do to get rid of it? I’m also using a Free plan.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy sikanderfarwynd! Really cool moleskin of the Game of Thrones opening by the way!
I’ve seen the scrollbar on Google Chrome but not on Firefox or Internet explorer. Do you think you could try switching themes then switching back? It’s possibly a bug or your images/posts could be affecting it with their sizes.

Sorry about this, but I’ve got another question. The Libre theme’s live demo version’s got a post format I’ve never seen before (here it is: https://libredemo.wordpress.com/2011/07/07/my-favorite-book/). I was wondering how you could split a post’s content into separate pages, and whether it could be done with a Free WP plan. And I hope it’s alright to ask this here.

Are you attempting to format it with a picture wrapped around text as shown? If so, this is image aligning. You can produce the same results by following the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-alignment/.

Ooh, sorry I didn’t make myself clear. I was referring to the ‘Pages: 1 2 3″ thing at the bottom of the post. If you click on the numbers, you’re taken to different pages within the same post. That’s what I wanted help with.

That’s fine, thanks for the clarification! I believe this is done by page ordering. It’s creating different pages but creating an order between them. I believe that they were separate pages created and then were added manually. The related section and pages section are both part of the same post, not additions or widgets. So, the pages were created like this:
NOTE: Notice how I didn’t link the page 1 to represent the page? That’s how it’s done on each page.
To create an order for the pages, you can follow the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-options/#order.

Hi @sikanderfarwynd!
I wanted to let you know that the design team is aware of the horizontal scrolling issue you’ve reported. It’s triggered when elements like Categories, Tags, etc. are hidden using My Site > Customize > Content Options.
We’re going to continue to investigate on this end – we’ll let you know when we know more!

Hi @sikanderfarwynd!
We’ve tracked down what was causing the horizontal scrolling, and have deployed a fix. I’ve double-checked your site in Chrome and it is now displaying as expected.
Thanks for reporting this! Please let us know if you have any questions, or run into further issues!
