Horrible Ads

  I thought it would be smart to ok advertising on my blog; maybe earn a few bucks too. Tonight, I posted a poem and when I went to check the public view of my post, right below my carefully crafted poem was a full color ad for toe fungus remover. Seriously? The ads are horrible! Women in hand cuffs, dogs with mange… disgusting click bait! Who let’s these companies advertise on writer’s blogs? I opted out of ads. Who wants to look at that garbage in what is essentially an online arts and letters gallery?

  Hi there, I understand that you’ve turned off ads on your site since it looks like you have an upgraded site plan, but if you see an inappropriate ad on your or any other WordPressdotcom website, please use the “Report this ad” link next to it which will report it to the WPcom ads team. Keep in mind that not everyone sees the same advertisements when visiting a site.
