host upgraded site software and I lost blog direction

  My host upgraded to new software that caused my blog to no longer be accessible via the web. Originally I had a volunteer install the blog into my domain and I have no idea how to fix the problem which I believe needs to have a file or two edited with the new location of the files. Can someone help me?
