Hosted existing domain and trying to logon

  Hello – I am trying to logon to WordPress to see a site that has been started by someone who is hosting the site in another state from me. They created a username and password but I cannot see it. Can you help?

  Hi there,

  It sounds like your site might be using the open source WordPress software at another host. In that case the site has nothing to do with WordPress.com, and you won’t be able to access it using a WordPress.com account.

  To log into a site like that you need to go to {domain}/wp-login.php in your browser. There you’ll then be able to log in using the username and password that was provided to you.
