  Can I host with another site such as godaddy?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can. Going through GD or someone like that will mean you either install WordPress manually (source is at https://wordpress.org/) or through their installer services. It’ll be a fresh one without any plugins and only the default themes available so the setup will need to be done yourself. It could be a lot more work to get things up and running to begin with, but you can definitely do that.

  To start off with you might want to start the blog here first and after a while, see how things go, and then at a later date you can migrate your content if you decide you want to go down the route of self-hosting/managing the blog.
