Hosting

I already have a couple of wordpress blogs running, but am thinking of hosting a third site. I have two options – my domain provider (UK2) is offereing a wordpress widget through them, or I can go straight to WordPress. Can you tell me the difference, or if it matters ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are both different platforms, you can find more information for this here:

WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different features, sign in requirements, etc. I have some support docs that may be useful to you, so that you can choose a software you may like.
Also, keep in mind, with WordPress.com, hosting, and maintenance + updates are done for you, and WordPress.org, you typically manage all of that, and have to install updates yourself.
With WordPress.com, you have plans you can choose to add some new features on your site, and on WordPress.org, certain hosting companies may require you to pay a small monthly fee.
I have pointed out some of the important features between the two, and I have a support document that will help you choose as well. Learn more about the difference between WordPress.com, and WordPress.org here (https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/)
Let me know if you have any more questions, and I’ll be able to take a look and help further :)

Thank you. I went with .org because my host had an app for it, so it didn’t cost me anything extra. Its been a while since I have done this but I have gone with Shapely as a theme.
