  Good morning, I have a WordPress site but it is self hosted. My annual hosting is up for renewal and I wondered about transferring to WordPress .com as an upgraded site with my own domain name. Is that possible, can I migrate? Does that make sense??

  You are most welcome to migrate your website as well as hosting to WordPress.com

  In above steps at end instead of mapping a domain you can transfer it to WordPress.com
