I think you need to do a bit more research. What do you mean by “hosted?” All WP.com blogs are hosted by WordPress.com.

All WP.com blogs are hosted by WordPress.com, free or not.
Don’t buy any upgrades whatsoever till you’ve blogged for a few weeks and gotten to know your way around a bit. Go through http://learn.wordpress.com to get the basics.
Do not upgrade to the pro bundle thinking you can use it to put ads on your blog. Each upgrade here applies only exclusively to what it says, and nothing else.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate. WordPress.org does not host blogs they are keepers of the software only. To have a WordPress.org install you must hire a web host. http://wordpress.org/hosting/ -
