  Hello, I purchased hosting from GoDaddy and working on building the site. If I use your service for site building, do I have to host with you? Or I can build the site using your service and deploy to GoDaddy? Please let me know.

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com is a hosting provider, like GoDaddy. You can’t host a site in two places at once, so it’s either GoDaddy or us.

  But we’re not the same thing as the open source WordPress software. That is made by the community on WordPress.org, and you can build a site using that software, and host it on GoDaddy’s servers.

  If that’s what you want to do, please speak to GoDaddy support to make sure you’re on one of their WordPress hosting plans, and then they can advise you on the recommended method to install a new WordPress site on their servers.
