Hosting?

    Hi we have a blog at wordpress.com, however we were hoping to upgrade to our own domain name. We are not very technically minded and are worried about the hosting of our blog. Is it possible to upgrade to have our own domain name and still be hosted by WordPress without having to set up anything else?

    I hope that this makes sense. Our main reason for wanting the upgrade is so that our address is shorter, making it easier for fans to find us and so we display more info on our site as the layout isn’t quite there yet.

    Yes, you can just get the Custom Domain and Mapping upgrades for a grand total of $18 per year. Instructions are in the Support documents http://support.wordpress.com/
