  hi, my website inspiringquotesandfunnyjokes.com is already on word press, its hosting with Siteground. I just wanted to get my ‘gravatar’ account going, but it seems I need to separately sign up on word press for that? Thanks.

  Yes, Gravatars use WordPress.com’s account system, which is separate from how you log into your site.

  Gravatars are attached to email addresses, so make sure that the email address at Users > Your Profile in your site’s Dashboard matches an email address in your Gravatar account.
